For Employers

We want to connect your organization with creative, collaborative, and agile Beloiters.

Beloit College is a small, private liberal arts college with a focus on developing career-ready students who are prepared to tackle the world’s most complex issues. Through our Career Channels program, we encourage students to explore their interests in a variety of fields, from business to human rights and sustainability. We are interested in connecting with employers who can help to develop our students’ skills in effective communication, creative problem-solving, productive collaboration, and intellectual and professional agility.

Options for Connecting with Beloit Students

Handshake

Our online career management system is where you can post internship and job openings free of charge. This database reaches all current Beloit students and many Beloit alumni. Employers can sign up for Handshake here.

Build Your Brand On Campus

Gain name recognition on campus by meeting students where they are at. Engage with students through virtual or on-campus information sessions or tabling in high traffic areas. Host a group of students for a workplace tour or help to facilitate mock interviews.

Participate in Our Career Events

We host a handful of career events throughout the year, including our Career Accelerator and the “From Local to Global” Networking Fair.

The college is continuously monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and guidelines for in-person events. You can learn more about our COVID-19 response here.

Inclusivity, Anti-Racism, & Employers

We invite you to learn more about Beloit College’s commitment to anti-racism through our Becoming Better initiatives. In support of our anti-racism mission, Career Works partners with organizations that:

  • are committed to providing equal access to opportunities to all student and alumni members of our community;
  • see the value of a diverse and inclusive workforce and the ways it makes organizations strong;
  • and promote an equitable workplace in both policies and practices.
